The DGP of Ladakh Police has even alleged that Wangchuk was in touch with a PIO i.e. Pakistani Intelligence operative. It is reported that a few months ago, Wangchuk also visited Pakistan. Also during his fast, Wangchuk had given many anti-national inflammatory speeches several times, due to which violence erupted on Wednesday (September 24, 2025). The police had to fire to control the violence, in which four people died and several dozen were injured.
