The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has geared up for the Bihar assembly elections. The party on Thursday appointed Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as its in -charge for the Bihar assembly elections. He comes from other Backward Classes (OBC) and is one of the most experienced election managers of BJP. Dharmendra Pradhan has given a big success to the BJP while working for the party earlier in Bihar. Statistics are witness to the election that BJP has given the command of Dharmendra Pradhan, they have won the party.
The party has won a big victory in Bihar
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was the co-contemporary of the party in the 2010 Bihar elections, when the BJP-JDU alliance won its biggest victory. At that time the NDA was successful in winning a record 206 seats in 243 seats and the NDA got a historic majority. Now the BJP is once again looking at the state to retain power with JDU.
Dharmendra Pradhan's record has been the best in Bihar. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dharmendra Pradhan played a big role in winning 31 Lok Sabha seats in 40 Lok Sabha constituencies.
BJP government formed for the third time in Haryana
Dharmendra Pradhan is the architect of BJP's historic third win in the assembly elections held last year in Haryana. Due to his hard work, the BJP remained in power for the third consecutive time in the state. The party won 48 out of 90 assembly seats in the state. The BJP appointed him in charge of Haryana in June 2025.
Last year, his hard work paid off both in Odisha assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections. Here he played an important role in strengthening the party to the ground level workers and social backgrounds. As a result, the party performed brilliantly in the BJP government and Lok Sabha elections in the state.
A big role played in defeating Mamta Banerjee
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan performed tremendously in the year 2022 working as in -charge of Uttar Pradesh BJP. The BJP government was formed here for the second consecutive time. In the year 2017, he was made co-integrated in the Uttarakhand assembly elections, in which he gave a brilliant victory by the BJP. In the West Bengal assembly elections held in 2021, he was appointed in charge of Nandigram seat. BJP's Shubhendu Adhikari defeated Mamata Banerjee from this seat.
